Another image, Abell 33

Hi all,

This time, the uploaded image is a planetary nebula, that owes its beauty to its simplicity. Abell 33 is a spherical, bluish planetary nebula in the constellation Hydra. Its color is mainly due to the OIII emission and it has been imaged with narrowband filters. The data of this object have been taken by Don Goldman, with whom I am happy to share both time and data of his telescope.

You can find the image (and its additional information) here:

Enjoy!

Josep

PS: stay tuned! I still have four more processed images that will be uploaded in the coming days. The next one will be NGC 1532, the “Empire Cruise Starship” galaxy…

  1. Hola, Josep Maria,

No comments.

    Una abraçada. Justí
