The wide field image of the LMC has been uploaded!

Hi all,

A new image has been uploaded. This time, it is a section of a nearby galaxy (actually, it is a satellite of our Milky Way…), the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC). It is a region very rich in emission nebulas. This image is a blend of a wide field image taken with the TOA 130mm with the higher resolution individual images of six nebulas taken previously with the CDK 20″. You will find this image at:

LMC, the Large Magellanic Cloud, wide field

For sure, you can figure out the number of hours dedicated to processing this image. The exposures add up to 91.5 hours… Enjoy!
