  1. An astonishing close-up of the Eta Carinae Nebula !!! I had naver seen such a level of subtle and tiny details that usually remain hidden on images made with the standard RGB filtering.
    I dare guess the author spent very long and tedious (but successful) hours of image-processing. Congratulations for your work,

    • Many thanks! You got it. The processing lasted about 9 hours. Especially long was to find the right combination to reproduce the nebula’s spectrum, but I am not complaining…

    • Yes, indeed! This nebula really hides (or should I say “shows”?) many amazing facts. Additionally, just right (west) of this image lies a very interesting region with one of the most massive stars known: WR22. I am preparing a 1×2 mosaic, adding this second region to this one.
