The Vela Supernova Remnant is an endless source of beautiful images. The delicate fine structure of its wisps, carefully separated into Hydrogen-rich and Oxygen-rich emitting regions, offers multiple opportunities for a detailed close-up. Please, see a wide field mosaic of this remnant here.
