NGC 6744 – Caldwell 101

NGC 6744 is one of the galaxies with a closer appearance to what our milky Way galaxy most probably looks like from that distance. NGC 6744 has a dwarf, distorted companion (out of the field of this picture) that will merge with this beautiful spiral.
