Hi all,
I have uploaded two versions of M17, the Omega Nebula. The first version was taken with a 17inch telescope, and shows more detail. The second image is a wide field image of this nebula, and its core has been enhanced with the previous higher resolution image.
This wide field image is the second panel of a 1×2 mosaic of the M16+M17+M18 area. This mosaic will be uploaded right after this image.
You can find these two M17s at:

Enjoy!!

I really love this widefield images!! Really well done Josep M.! This scope is amazing, and the skies where it operates are a treasure. Lucky man 🙂

Thanks Aleix, Some regions of the sky (and this one is one of them) deserve as much work as you can do…
How much have you paid to be able to make this photo with the robotic telescope
Well, as I share a telescope that is located at the SSO (iTelescope.net site), this image has not been done through any of the rented telescopes. I have access to available time and it is then that I can get these images. I have to say that I never check what is the cost for any of my images…
The telescope I use is private and has a contracted hosting
