Hi all,
An image of NGC 6164-5 and the Blue Doily Nebula that surrounds them has been uploaded. This nebular complex is very interesting in that the central spectroscopic binary star has ejected material in two phases. The first one, rich in Oxygen, conformed the bluish nebula that, in absence of a popular name I have called it the “Blue Doily Nebula”. The red emission nebulas in its center are NGC 6164 and 6165.You can find the image and more information at:

Hi all,
I know that it is a bit late, but better than never… On 27 March, Ceres crossed in front of Messier 100, a beautiful spiral galaxy. My friend Christian Sasse, took 42images of this event and now, the stacked and processed image has been uploaded. The luminance of M100 as well as all images of ceres, have been taken from Chile. The RGB images for this final image were taken from New Mexico. You can find the image at:

Hi all,
An image of Sh2-170, the Little Rosette Nebula, has been uploaded. This nebula has an open cluster, Stock 18, inside it and one of its members, BD+63 2093p, the bright star at the very center of the nebula, is the responsible one for the ionization, and therefore the emission, of the entire nebula. Hi all,
An image of the so called “Hidden Galaxy” or IC 342 has been uploaded. The color of this galaxy is very reddened because we see it through the dust of the disk of Milky Way. It has an ULX (Ultra Luminous X-ray source) and many emission nebulae. You can find the image and more information at:

A reprocessed image of NGC 6888 has been uploaded. This image was the first one that I was able to take with the 24 inch telescope, that was commissioned in 2019 in New Mexico. Ever since I uploaded the image in 2019, I thought that it deserved a reprocessing. Now it has been done. You can find it at:
