This is the second image of Messier 8, the Lagoon Nebula in this site. The first one can be found here. This one, also taken with a 20″ telescope, responds to a different processing concept. This image has been taken with narrowband filters (Halpha, OIII and SII), but processed the same way as NGC 3372. This means that the color-filter pairing tries to mimic the spectrum of the nebula. The stars, as usual, have been blended from an RGB image. An HCP version of this nebula can be found here. This image has been slightly re-processed in March 2021.
